ABOUT ISIS ANN
Hi there!
First things first, I will get the all important career related info out there, and then a little more about my personal life and some photos at the end!
I am an organised and detail driven BA (Hons) Fashion Design graduate, with a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly. Holding industry standard construction skills and research led design experience. I am confident learning and utilising new IT systems and digital tools to support administrative, design evolution and merchandising processes. Experienced in garment development, including initial sketches, technical CAD flat illustrations, manual and digital pattern cutting, half and full scale toiles, fitting and alterations, high quality construction using industrial and domestic machines, and hand sewing techniques.
I work well both independently and within a team in fast-paced, luxury retail and service environments, demonstrating outstanding flexibly through balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy during periods of high demand.
Consistently positive feedback allows me to say I am an excellent communicator who works collaboratively to build strong relationships across departments, coming across as a reliable and proactive problem solver. Highly motivated by products and the customer experience, I have a strong desire to learn from experienced teams and I am always aiming to develop further.
Whilst striving to continually learn and improve, I recently completed the Inside LVMH Certificate. The three month course focussed on four modules, including the LVMH ecosystem, the fundamentals of the luxury industry and its key challenges within society, creation and branding, and operations and supply chain. Prior to this, I completed the Canva Social Media Mastery Course which covered the importance connecting with audiences to grow community, the right platforms for which goals, and producing consistent content that is visually engaging, with a focus on strategies for planning, tailoring and amplifying content.
So work life balance. What’s the saying? Oh yes, work hard, play hard! Outside of work and my career development, I love to spend my time getting outdoors as much as I can, from all season sea swimming to coastal and mountain hiking, my walking boots are well worn in! I also really enjoy singing. Performing in regular services and concerts, as well as high profile televised and radio broadcasts, With 16 years volunteering as a chorister and later being voted head chorister, I love to put back into my passion. I now teach and support younger choristers aged 6 to 18 who are preparing for their Royal School of Church Music Awards, as well as assisting the Choral Director in all things creative, including some recent jumper designs.
Finally, a few extra things I find fascinating and are pretty fond of. History. You will often find me listening to a podcast on WWI or the Tudor period during my morning commute. Travel and culture. I am lucky enough to have extensive travel experience meaning I am confident in international environments, whether that’s catching up with family in Asia, experiencing local cuisines and historical architecture, wildlife watching or a more active adventure like my recent trip to Norway where I had a (very quick) winter dip in the Arctic Circle.
Lastly, I am of course always keeping up with all things fashion!
